The
Old Smithy are always happy to quote on work for the larger clocks but
as it is impossible for most of these clocks to be brought to us we
will have to come to examine the clock.
We
will of course require a good examination and we will have to charge
for expenses, this will usually cover traveling expenses and some of
the time lost at the workshops.
If the clock is situated more than 75 miles away then overnight
accomodation may have to taken into account. It can be a very expensive
project to restore one of these clocks so if you require any advice we
will be happy to speak with you about it.
